2004 Famine Final Results...

readers of the sm3a website will remember that last year the YNU group's
24 Hour Famine event exceeded their fundraising expectations by nearly
doubling the £500 initial estimate.
Not content to rest on their laurels they have set their sights even higher this year, and, true to form, they've done it again:

The Final, Confirmed Result Is That The Group Has Raised A Truly Astonishing £1,234 (£975 last year) |
That's a lot of money, but just look at what it can actually do:
- Provide 8,880 families with water filters to keep worms out of their drinking water
OR
- Provide 120 cement ring wells to provide clean safe drinking water
