Thank You Jenny!

PHOTO: Jenny Dann receives her thank you gift At the end of our Family Service today, our Reader and Licensed Lay Minister Jenny Dann was given a big thank you for her energy, enthusiam, guidance, help and support during our interregnum.

The last verse of the last hymn, specially written for the occasion by Christine Brayne was the prelude to a presentation of a clerical cloak, and a message of thanks which read as follows:

Message Of Thanks

The church family of St Michael and all angels and the wider community of Shefford and surrounding villages wish to present this gift of a clerical cloak to you as a measure of our love and appreciation for all the work undertaken by you during our interregnum.

May this cloak keep you warm and protect you from harm as you have done for us.

In spite of her greatly increased workload during the interregnum, Jenny has still managed to devise and run a number of thought provoking workshops, has re-started the Mini-M group, and has continued to develop our links with the churches and wider community of Shefford through initiatives such as Angelmas, the Advent and Easter Labyrinths, Alpha courses, and Healing and Wholeness services.

So, once again Jenny, THANK YOU!
