Shefford's YNU Group show what a difference a day makesOne child is orphaned by HIV/Aids every 14 seconds. But this is not just a statistic. We're talking about real children, in desperate poverty, trying to survive. Now... This is the challenge that Shefford's YNU youth group have risen to - helping World Vision in their quest to raise £1 million to provide much needed care, food, water, healthcare, and support for children orphaned by HIV/Aids, including supplementary food, medical care and life skills training. Over the weekend of the 12th & 13th February 2005, the YNU group are holding a sponsored 24 Hour Famine plus a number of additional fundraising activities to help them to beat last year's record of £1,234 (£975 in 2003). So, What Can YOU Do?Simple - take a look at the fundraising events listed below, then come along and dig deep to support the YNU group's efforts.
