Email from Kenya!
Our web team recently received an email from two Pastors in Kenya who
found some information about Healing
and Wholeness Services on our website, and were moved to write to
us.
Having replied to their original message, we have been fortunate in receiving
several further messages (how do they find the time?) which we have also
reproduced below:
Dear
Pastors
My name is Pastor Gideon Mudenyo married to Evelyn. We are pastors pastoring
a congregation of about 150 people in Kenya, Africa.
I happened to come across your contact on the web and was greatly touched
and ministered to as I read through your Mission. God bless you great
for obeying his Voice to minister this kind of healing to the Body of
Christ.
Would you please pray with us about the possibility of Coming to Africa
some day if the Lord allows and may be do some ministry in this area.
God bless you and keep you.

Thanks for your encouraging e mail. We are all
doing well here in Kenya. We continue praying for you and also continue
praying for us too. My wife and I are doing a great work of reaching people
in both the villages and teaching the word of God.
We have had many people in the villges who have not even had a chance
to hear the word of God.
I would love to keep in touch.
Blessings

We have been trying to send the pictures but
could not understand why it could not come. We guess it is the problem
with our computers which are very slow.
Well am so thankful for your prayers. Last week we travelled to Uganda
where we had a powerful meeting and 300 people were converted and received
the Lord Jesus.
May God Bless you

Thanks for remembering us in your prayers, what
a blessing to hear from you and also learn that you are praying for the
great work in Africa. We are so touched by your prayers.
This was one of the hardest years in this nation, because many died of
hunger, floods and HIV/ aids. The number of orphans has really increased
this year. It has been our prayer that God helps the churches to take
care of these children.
Whenever you pray please do remember to pray for the orphans in Kenya.
May God bless you.

Greetings in Jesus name
We have just finished our service. God was so faithful and many people
came to the Lord while i was teaching today. we had 7 people come to the
Lord. God gave me a message on unity in the body of Christ. in John 17
jesus prayed for us that we may be one. verses 11,22,23 he mensioned 5
times that we may be one. God was so faithful when many people turned
to the Lord in repentence and promised to let God lead them in unity with
their brothers. We are believing with you brothers that the service will
be so powerful today and many are going to see His love as you speak to
them.
While my wife and I were praying for you this day after we had finished
the service, we felt the presene of the Lord and he gave us 2 Chronicles
7:15. The Holy Spirit ministered to us so strongly and we just feel God's
eyes are on you and he is going to move in a might way just as you minister
in the church meeting today
We believe these are the last day and we need people to understand of
God's love and know that they are loved by their heavenly father. Sometimes
people fail to know the purpose of God in their lives, we are therefore
believing that this sunday God will be able to move mightly and use his
servants to speak of His love towards his children.
Please just write us and let us know what the Lord has done that we may
continue thanking him for what he is doing.
May God bless you

Please join with us in sending Gideon, Evelyn and their congregation
our prayers, and, if you can, send them a short email to let them know
that you are praying for them - their email address is:

We
have also found a website, run by Immanuel Ministries (apparently from
the USA) which has details of some of the work that that Gideon, Evelyn
and their team are doing in Kenya.
Immanuel
Ministries (when the page loads, click on the 'Africa' button at the
bottom of the page)
If you thought that 'African Missionaries' were a thing of the past,
take a look - amongst other things they are working with the massive numbers
of orphans created by HIV/AIDS that is currently rife throughout the African
continent. Inspirational stuff...
Poverty and hunger and floods present daily challenges to their ministry,
but, despite all this, Gideon and Evelyn told us in a recent email that
"God is good to us in Kenya" (see the brief email dated 7th
August, reproduced above).
