Once again, Shefford's children packed St Michael's for our annual Nativity
service, and this one was really spectacular!
The theme this year, based on various methods of transport, was "Bethlehem
Roads" - picking up on the idea that everyone involved in the
Nativity story had to travel.
Andy Wilkinson excelled himself by producing a large number of cardboard
models, including a satellite with flashing lights, a twin-engined biplane,
a tractor and trailer, train and carriage, a bus, and even a very patient
Donkey...
On arrival, the children got busy making angels, sheep, wise men and
shepherds, plus their own personal "Star Nav" systems, and,
as the story unfolded throughout the service, each group of characters
travelled to the crib, guided by the STAR satellite...
