Welcome Patsy!
Members
of St Mary's Meppershall and St Michael's Shefford churches attended the
ordination of our new Deacon, Patsy Critchley in St. Albans Cathedral
on 22nd September. Those who attended commented on what a beautiful service
it was when Patsy, and over 30 other people were ordained in a two hour
service. The cathedral was packed for the occasion - the attendance and
the support is encouraging evidence that the Anglican church is still
alive and kicking!
Patsy's own church in Haynes organised a tea in the afternoon at Haynes
Mission Hall, where Haynes church members, Patsy's family and friends,
and members of St. Mary's and St. Michael's churches met together to celebrate
her ordination and to wish her well
