24 Hour Famine

Poverty kills 30,000 children every day. That's one child every three seconds.

Approximately 20 Young people from YNU Shefford Baptist Church and Shefford Methodist Church youth group, are choosing to go without food for 24 hours - raising money so that those without this choice can eat.
They have signed up to the 24 hour famine organised by the international development agency World Vision. The sponsorship raised over the weekend of 22-23rd February will provide emergency food and fund strategic programmes to fight hunger for some of the 15 million people facing starvation in South Africa
